This necklace was created in honour of our youth artisan, Joy, and the gold leaf necklace she took as she ran away from home and now never takes off. The necklace had always reminded her of the Robert Frost poem, "Nothing Gold Can Stay" and the reflection in her own upbringing at the hands of parents who traded nurture, love and family for status, wealth and power. Crafted with stunning attention to detail, featuring carefully set micro pave gemstones in a two-tone finish, this piece was meant to be worn as a reminder to cherish that which is important in life because all else is fleeting.
